Who can register?
Teachers can register their classes. From 20 March 2017 there is a co-contribution of $5 per student required to use this program.
How do I register?
Teachers register for their whole class. Students only need to complete ONE course.
Once approved you will receive TWO emails. One with your teacher log-in and one with the student pins.
Do Students need to complete multiple courses?
NO! Teachers decide which course their student completes - students only need to complete ONE course. See information on the courses here. Teen Challenge is the standard course.
How do I add more pins to my account?
If you have used all of the pins you ordered and need more please email meegan@passporttosafety.com.au to add them to your account. Do NOT provide students with multiple pins.
How long will it take to receive the emails with the log-in details?
Approval is NOT instant. Emails are checked to ensure that a teacher is registering. Unfortunately due to lack of funding there is no full time support for the program. Emails are generally monitored Monday to Wednesday during SA school terms. Please allow at least 2 business days for approval.

FOR NETWORK ADMINISTRATORS
If you receive an error that says there is a mismatched digital certificate this will help.
- The Passport to Safety website does not use a digital certificate or secure socket layer.
- Your Proxy Server is likely translating Http:// (the sites protocol) to Https:// (a different protocol not used on the Passport Site). When it does this it finds a different IP and subsequently a mismatched certificate.
- Please direct your proxy to use the HTT Protocol and you will not have any further problems.

I click on Login and I just get a blank screen?
Please ensure that you are using an internet browser that has been updated in the last 2 years.
My password won't work... What should I do?
Make sure your CAPS lock button is off because passwords are case sensitive.
Click the 'forgot my password?' link on the log in screen and enter the email address that you used the first time you logged in. The system will send you an email with your account information.
Do I have to enter my full name?
YES. You must at least enter a first and surname for your certificate. If you don't enter your full name you won't be able to access the course.
How long do I have to complete my course?
This online learning is self-paced. This means that you move through the learning material at a rate that matches your learning style, prior understanding of the topic, and time availability.
Do I have to complete the course in one setting?
NO. You can log out at any time and log in again later using your PIN and Password. The system will remember the last section you successfully completed and start you at the next one when you log in again. There is no expiry to access the course. Just log back in and click on "Enter Course" to resume.
Do I need to use the same computer each time I log in?
NO. You can access your account from any computer that has an internet connection. You can also take the course using your iphone or ipad.
Can I fail the course?
You can't 'fail' the course although you can 'fail' a test. Each online course includes mandatory testing to ensure that you understand course material. If you fail a test you must review the unit information and try again. Test questions are randomly selected from a test bank so that each testing experience will be unique. You can take a test repeatedly until you are able to verify knowledge retention by achieving 100%. When you have passed all mandatory tests you can download/print a Certificate of Completion for your records. This document will identify the date training was completed.
Does the course provide a Certificate of Completion?
YES. Each of the courses featured on this campus includes a Certificate of Completion. When you have achieved 100% on mandatory testing (all courses include testing) for each unit of your course, you will immediately be able to download/print a Certificate of Completion which has your name and the date of training.
